Question: How can I determine the best intake filter to use in my setup?

Answer: It all comes down to flow vs efficiency, there is no getting around that physical limitation. Lower cost intake filters such as the 300 Series work fine in many situations. However shop setups, general working practices and other factors heavily contribute to how clean the spray chamber will be with a given filter. Also generally speaking, the booths purpose should dictate which grade of intake filter that is used. It is a waste of money to run 5000 series filters in a booth that is used to spray fiberglass chop. In a booth that is used for automotive finishing we highly reccommend going with a Custom Tacky or 5000 series filter.

If the booths intake is pulling in above normal levels of dust, a higher efficiency intake filter such as the Custom Tacky or 5000 Series is highly recommended.

We offer 3 different grades of spray booth intake filters in blankets and pads with and without internal wire frames.
